When and where do we meet
We meet at Freemasons' Hall - the headquarters of the United Grand Lodge of England.
Freemasons' Hall is located at 60 Great Queen St, London WC2B 5AZ and is easily accessible via public transport. Within a 10-15 minute walk the Underground station options are:
- Holborn (Piccadilly & Central Line)
- Covent Garden (Piccadilly Line)
- Leicester Square (Piccadilly & Northern Line)
There is also pay-by-phone on street parking and a few underground car parks in the surrounding streets.
Our Regular Lodge meetings are usually held on:
- The second Tuesday in January
- The second Tuesday in March
- The second Tuesday in September
- The first Tuesday in November
Each meeting is followed by a Festive Board (evening dinner). We currently dine in a private room at a reasonably priced Italian restaurant within a 10-minute walk of Freemasons' Hall.
Events & Master's Events
In addition to a full calendar of social events, formal Grand Lodge meetings and Masonic learning events run by the Metropolitan Grand Lodge of London, our Worshipful Master in his year of Office often organises a Master’s Evening and/or a Summer Garden Party for members, their families and prospective applicants for joining our Lodge.
Master's Evening
The Master’s Evening is a social event hosted by the Worshipful Master often held at a country hotel or golf club.
Master's Summer Garden Party
Additionally from time to time, the Master’s Summer Garden Party is another social event hosted by the Worshipful Master often held either at home or at a teahouse or countryside venue.
White Tables
Every few years, the Lodge convenes a White Table Festive Board (dinner) following a Regular Lodge meeting at which our Members and Masonic guests are encouraged to invite their family members, friends and guests who are not Freemasons, as well as potential applicants for Freemasonry and membership of our Lodge.
Uniquely, all guests are invited to join the Lodge meeting near the end to experience the warmth, camaraderie, and traditions of our Lodge in a relaxed, social setting.
After the meeting, everyone enjoys a formal dinner along with toasts, short talks, and opportunities to learn more about the values and charitable work of the Lodge.
It is a wonderful introduction for anyone curious about Freemasonry, and a meaningful occasion for members to share the spirit of the fraternity with the people important to them.
